The young generation of Hong Kong lacks awareness of German design.
German design is everywhere,
yet people are barely aware of it.
Develop an experiential and immersive exhibition
rejuvenating their interests in German Design.

House, the most familiar space for all.
Step in, breathe in and discover how German design has shaped every corner of our lives.
• Student Project commissioned by the Goethe-Institut Hongkong; Grade received A+
• Identified perception bias caused by target–team overlap, and structured target insights
by designing and facilitating internal focus group research from the perspective of the team’s only foreign member
• Reframed German design elements within the spatial theme of “home”
across function, context, and user experience, translating aesthetic-driven ideas into a logically structured exhibition narrative
• Wrote and edited overall exhibition copy with strategic use of German language elements,
ensuring clarity, density control, and readability from a visitor-centered perspective
• Led a six-member interdisciplinary team
by structuring professor–team–client communication and timeline operations to maintain execution stability

Visitors interact directly with the space
rather than just viewing the exhibits.
This experiential journey
enhances the visitor's connection to the content,
making the experience more personal and engaging.
The exhibition presents German Design,
an unfamiliar notion in the most familiar space, the house.
The sense of comfort and personalization
enhance the audience's engagement towards the unexplored topic.
The audience leaves the exhibition with a newfound connection
to the German Design surrounding them,
extending their daily scenes as the exhibition.
